What’s in your jar?

Grow it.

From seed to jar

Find my cucumber.

A greenhouse in Latvia? A pot on the patio? Start with your space and the pickles you want, then find a variety with the right evidence behind it.

Your cucumber growing plan

A plant for your plan.

Four choices. Only varieties with evidence for all four.

Checks for a regional seed source, not local weather or stock.

Picking size and maximum fruit size are different.

A compact plant is not the same as a small cucumber.

What makes a match?

  • Your space comes first. Greenhouse and container suitability must be explicitly described. Compact growth and fruit without insect pollination need separate evidence.
  • Mini means a verified small-pickle harvest. We require a published picking window entirely at or below about 9 cm. A larger fruit description, or an unverified suggestion to pick young, does not qualify.
  • Country checks a regional reference. It does not predict your microclimate, guarantee availability or set a planting date. Our six-variety set includes verified sources in Latvia, the United Kingdom and the United States. Coverage varies by variety.
  • Unknown stays unknown. All selected requirements must be supported. Up to three full matches appear alphabetically, without sponsored placement or an invented best score.

Evidence checked 17 September 2026. Inch-to-centimetre ranges are rounded. Check the exact cultivar and seed packet before deciding what fits your setup.
